Other
In my four years as an undergraduate student at Rochester Institute of Technology I wrote many articles for the student-run, award-winning Reporter Magazine. I served in various positions on the editorial board, including two years as Print Managing Editor where I oversaw and edited a 32-page, monthly magazine. I wrote many articles during my time there, including one which won First Place News Story (College) from the New York Press Association: The Autism Speaks Controversy. My time with Reporter taught me much that has helped me in academia: how to write clearly and concisely, how to ask the right questions, the structure of academic bureaucracy, management, and more.
